Memphis e Miami conquistano i playoff. Sono loro le teste di serie numero 8, le avversarie di primo turno di Oklahoma City e Cleveland, le squadre col miglior record di Western e Eastern Conference. I Grizzlies al play-in spazzano via Dallas la cui stagione è stata una delle peggiori nella storia di una franchigia Nba con l’imperdonabile scambio di Luka Doncic e poi il conseguente crollo verticale, gli Heat vincono ad Atlanta dopo un tempo supplementare trascinati dal solito Tyler Herro. Non è Jimmy Butler, ma per mandare al mare in anticipo gli Hawks basta lui. Dunque per Pasqua il programma Nba prevederà Oklahoma City-Memphis (dalle ore 19 italiane) e Cleveland-Miami (nella notte a cavallo con lunedì, dall’1 italiana).
