Triolimpionica, 18 anni, canadese, è la ragazza dei 3 record mondiali in 5 giorni realizzati alle selezioni. Ai Mondiali punta al pokerissimo individuale riuscito solo a Michael Phelps in una sola edizione: 400 e 800 sl (Ledecky permettendo e definita "la rivoluzionaria" da Summer), 200 farfalla, 200 e 400 misti, e sarà pure impegnata in staffetta. Prove di Giochi 2028 prima di affidarsi al mentore di Michael Phelps ad Austin. Summer McIntosh è la nuotatrice più completa del mondo alla quale manca pure uno sfizio da togliersi: cancellare il record mondiale femminile più longevo, quello del 2009 della cinese Liu Zige nei 200 farfalla. Un magnifico cruccio. Il suo show è assicurato.
